MT Healthcare Design Institute, Inc., located in Tokyo, Japan, was founded as a design firm specializing in the healthcare field, conducting research, design, and business creation in the fields of medical care, nursing care, and health based on the MT (Medical Thinking) method. We work with various partners to discover and organize on-site needs, create product, system and service designs, and provide upstream to downstream healthcare design consulting to generate new businesses.

The challenge of an aging society with a declining birthrate is not just an issue for the elderly, but an issue for all generations of society. We need to create a society where people can stay active and healthy throughout their lives, even with limited social and medical resources . This requires specialized knowledge of medicine and nursing care, as well as the power of design to "understand issues from nothing, observe, visualize thoughts, share issues, solve them, and give them form."
